By Pearl Fontaine

June 13, 2018

If you’re looking for a Father’s Day gift that your discerning dad will love, then you’ve come to the right place. Here you’ll find Whitewall’s recommendations that are anything but your typical tool kit or necktie.

Hennessy released its eighth limited-edition series, just in time to snag a bottle for dad. In this collaboration with urban artist Vhils, or Alexandre Farto, the artist took iconic Hennessy imagery like the three-star emblem to create a portrait of the award-winning Cognac.

Stockholm-based Fotografiska debuted its revolutionary photography book, The Eye. Commemorating the first eight years of Fotografiska, The Eye contains 256 photographs by 83 photographers including Bettina Rheims, Guy Bourdin, and Emma Svensson. The book would make a great Father’s Day gift for any photography-loving dad.

American Express announced its collaboration with Parley for the Oceans, an organization focusing on reducing marine plastic pollution. Help dad raise awareness by letting him know that that later this year, American Express will release its first-ever card composed primarily of recovered plastic found in the oceans.

Falke Svatun and LOT Architecture’s Leo and Eleni introduced Tube Chair, the latest addition to the Objects of Common Interest collection. This plush, bubbly creation uses natural geometry to create a comfortable lounge spot that is plenty big enough for you and dad to share.

Prospect NY recently released Paradiso, a collection of five design objects, in collaboration with artist Enoc Perez. The collection features a set of coasters, two beach towels, a lacquered tray, and a set of reproductions from the artist’s personal vintage collection of swizzle sticks. Whether your dad is an art lover or a beach goer, he’ll surely love a gift from the Paradiso collection.
