Brand New: Fendi x Polaroid, Chanel’s Opulent Mist, David Yurman’s Penny Amulets, and More

Fendi and Polaroid have teamed up to release the OneStep Close-Up 600 instant camera. As part of the Summer 2021 capsule, the multicolor FF Vertigo camera continues the 1970s and ‘90s style references, featuring the one-of-a-kind fisheye motif designed by the artist Sarah Coleman. 

Immerse in soft fruit fragrances and flora scents with Chanel’s limited-edition Coco Mademoiselle collection. The in-house perfumer Olivier Polge crafted the L’EAU Light Fragrance Mist and LE GEL hair and shower gel, both in portable sizes, to refresh yourself on hot summer days.

In collaboration with the conceptual artist Jill Magid, David Yurman is revealing two solid rose gold engraved penny amulets as an extension of Magid’s public artwork Tender, in which 120,000 newly minted 2020 pennies were circulated. One of the amulets contains white diamond and ruby baguettes, symbolizing the red and white penny wrappers used by the nation’s Treasury department. 100 percent of proceeds go toward supporting The River Fund, a non-governmental organization supporting the working poor.

Sorellina launched “Tarot,” a special collection based on the fortune telling card decks. Featuring motifs drawn from the iconography of sun, star, moon, strength, and the wheel of fortune, the collection includes five bold and intricate palm-sized pendants with hand-drawn renderings, bringing to life the original cards and their meanings.

In this first publication by the label are tutorials for DIY projects, including fragrance oils, candles, incense, potpourri, simmer pots, and more. Inspired by the authors’ home state of California, the book focuses on subtle organic scents drawn from nature that do not overpower. 

The artist Shannon Cartier Lucy released a new kitchen towel design, alongside a limited series of prints of eight of her most iconic paintings. The bold and playful towels, made by Lucy since 2019, are an extension of the artist’s work in hopes that her art can be owned and enjoyed in other contexts.

High West announced an exclusive rendition of Rendezvous Rye, a blend of straight rye whiskeys. The limited release features custom artwork by the artist Ed Mell, who focuses on capturing timeless Western landscapes in his practice. The warm earth tones and a contemporary-inspired cowboy scene bring to life elements of dried fruit, leather, and candied ginger of the award-winning blend.
