Brand New Holiday 2019: Chanel N°5 in the Snow, The EDITION’s Christmas Tree, and More

By Pearl Fontaine

December 13, 2019

Still haven’t finished your holiday shopping? Well, look no further—Whitewall’s Brand New gift guide will help you fix that, featuring picks from brands like Chanel, Tiffany & Co., and more.

At The Standard, High Line through Sunday, Chanel’s N°5 in the Snow offers festive treats and activities suitable for a dreamy winter date night or an evening out with family. Open through December 15, the holiday destination features ice skating, hot chocolate, ornament decorating, and endless scenery for snapping a Christmas photo.

If you love festive holiday decorations, check out The EDITION’s exquisite 12-foot Christmas tree, which resides in the 10th floor lobby of The Times Square EDITION. The monumental, glittering evergreen isn’t easy to miss—especially with its custom-made topper by The Blonds, composed of fiber-optic sprigs, mirrored elements, and details by Preciosa Crystal.

If you’re struggling to find the right gift for the men in your life, visit Tiffany & Co.’s men’s holiday pop-up, located at 6 East 57th Street. Open through January 6, 2020, the shop offers pieces like accessories, games, home objects, barware, and other luxury objects, as well as two special items from the Very, Very Tiffany Holiday gift guide—the one-of-a-kind Tiffany Blue Indian Scout motorcycle, and the Blatt Billiards pool table with a Tiffany blue felt top.

Sportmax is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with a book published by Assouline. Making the ideal topper for your friend’s coffee table, the publication features half a century of images reflecting the house’s history and past collaborations with names like Carla Bruni, Peter Lindberg, David Sims, and Yasmine Le Bon.

KREWE’s founder Stirling Barrett and designer Billy Reid looked back to their southern roots to create a collection of chic, updated takes on vintage eyewear styles. The pair’s debut collaboration includes shades like a frameless cat eye, an oversized round design, and our favorite—an aviator with tortoise shell detailing between the lenses.

Straight from The Arrivals’ personal holiday gift guide, we picked a favorite—the Koda Pack. Cozy and chic all in one, this teddy leather zip wallet is great on the go and, for our true Arrivals fans, will pair perfectly with the matching Koda II coat.

If you’re looking for a gift that will make a difference, MZ Wallace’s collaboration with the Albers Foundation should do the trick. Working with nonprofit Le Korsa’s educational efforts for women, the project features a unique black and white Metro Tote design that reads, “Good teaching is more a giving of right questions than a giving of right answers,” and will donate 100% of the net proceeds towards grants that will aid women in Senegal.

Dior’s “Dioramour” collection is full of stylish and sweet wearable gifts like watches, t-shirts, handbags, and more. Snag a J’adore tee for your White Elephant party, gift a red Mini Lady Dior bag to your sweetheart, and maybe even purchase a soft knit scarf for yourself.

And if you’re in search of a home away from home to celebrate the holidays, The Mark’s luxury accommodations are accompanied by a full roster of events and services for the month of December. Enjoy festivities like a private rooftop skating rink atop the Penthouse’s terrace, dine on a delectable four-course feast by Chef Jean Georges Vongerichten, treat yourself to a private rendition of The Nutcracker, surprise the kids with a visit from Santa, or have family portraits taken by renowned fashion photographer Alexei Hay—just to name a few.
