This week in Brand New, we’re looking at the latest releases from brands like Yellowpop, Bombay Sapphire, Tom Dixon, and more.

Through her New York-based brand DYNE, the British-Italian jewelry designer Sarah Ysabel Narici debuts the “LOVERGLYPHS” collection. An homage to ancient cultures, emotional memory, and the timeless desires of the human heart, the dynamic collection presents hieroglyphic imagery and meaningful coded motifs on signet rings and medallion pendants. Both lighthearted and refined, and embellished with vibrant gemstones, the multi-talismanic treasures are expertly hand-drawn and carved into solid gold. “With every piece I try to commemorate multiple moments and emotions with the idea the piece will survive long into the future—like a cabinet of curiosity or a time capsule,” said Narici.

Bombay Sapphirepresented the third edition of its limited-edition artist-designed bottle collection in an exclusive collaboration with the Basquiat Estate, celebrating the legendary artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. In the spirit of self-expression and the brand’s “Stir Creativity” platform, the bottle spotlights one of the visionary’s earliest works: Untitled (L.A Painting). The lesser-seen artwork was inspired by Basquiat’s refuge and peaceful moments in Venice Beach, California in 1982. The artist’s favorite motifs—including the crown, bird, coin, and skull—float dramatically in an ethereal blue landscape. The collaboration’s signature cocktail, named King Meets Queen, is an ode to the energetic colors and lines in the artist’s works. Bombay Sapphire is also the official spirits sponsor of “King Pleasure,” the Basquiat Estate’s family-operated exhibit in New York City. The momentous unveiling of over 200 artworks is on view through January 1, 2023.

The Italian jewelry brand EÉRAtranslated their mission of elegant, functional design in surprising new ways with its Spring/Summer 2023 collection. In the “Stone” family, geometric shapes, the forms of natural landscapes, and lit-from-within finishes are presented on statement chokers, pavé earrings, and the iconic snap-hook construction. The “Piercing” family offers a bevy of unique earrings, including vibrant barbells, squared studs, and graphic hoops. In a distinct linear manner, “Hug” bracelets and rings fit seamlessly against the skin. In true organic form, the shape-shifting “Reine” chain can be attached to the “Mini Moon” bag and to belt loops.

PATRÓN recently rejoiced in Hispanic Heritage Month during October with the Mexico City-based sculptor Sebastián for the annual creation of its annual limited-edition Mexican Heritage Tin. Energized by the vibrant culture and traditions of Mexico, the collaboration imparts the story of the harvesting and geometric cutting of agave piñas. With an overhead design of an agave heart, the multicolored tin—still available online for delivery—includes a bottle of PATRÓN Silver, a pairing that uplifts and exhilarates.

The cutting-edge Parisian jewelry designers and best friends, Kelia and Kelly of Rainbow K, have presented a brand new collection dedicated to the strong, beautiful women they know and love. With 18k gold diamond and gemstone rings, gorgeous layering necklaces, and elegant earrings, pieces can easily make a statement on their own or in mix-and-match sets. Paying respect to fine Art Deco jewelry, embellished in passionate pink or otherworldly green, Rainbow K speaks to generational mementos and the sensuality of dressing and decorating oneself in exquisite treasures. Our favorite piece is the Ring Shield—a geometric 18k gold ring with diamonds and emeralds galore.

Yellowpop most recently collaborated with The Andy Warhol Foundation on a limited-edition collection of vivid neon artworks. Infused with the dynamism and pop of cultural icon Andy Warhol’s famous creations, the contemporary pieces present the artist’s prominent works—including Flowers, Campbell’s Soup Can, Banana, Cow, Brillo, and Marilyn—in a stunning new light. The Marilyn and Flower deluxe sets are offered alongside a Yellowpop NFT that provides access to membership luxuries such as early access to exclusive collection drops and special events.

For his 20th anniversary celebration, the British designer Tom Dixon launched his eponymous label’s Autumn/Winter 2022 limited-edition “TWENTY” collection, including scent accessories and drinkware sets. Sophisticated ELEMENTS candles and diffusers mingle with fine, hand-painted “TANK” champagne glasses. The debut of Root, a bright addition to the “ELECTRIC” fragrance range, is brilliantly infused with upcycled turmeric, embellished with ginger, and steam distilled on freshly harvested roots. The milestone launch coincided with the “TWENTY” exhibition at Salone del Mobile, which explored Dixon’s iconic creations: MIRROR BALL, MELT, and FAT.

Victoire de Castellane, the Artistic Director of Dior Joaillerie, presents a striking new iteration of the La D de Dior watch in streamlined matte black. In homage to Mr. Christian Dior’s adoration of the understated hue (he stated in his 1954 Little Dictionary of Fashion, “I could write a whole book on black”), Castellane explores the piece as a timeless, compelling treasure. First offered in 2003, La D de Dior Black Ultramatte is now expressed in uber-modern form—the dial boasts three black diamond markers and the ribbon-like steel bracelet is sculpted with a Satine pattern. The watch is also offered in a black diamond-set bezel, stylish and meant to be cherished.
