In Miami for the busy art week, and wondering where to eat, see art, or relax? In Whitewaller Miami, we hear from a group of insiders that share their personal favorites. Below, we hear from Laure Heriard Dubreuil, Founder and President of The Webster.
WHERE TO EAT AND SIP
Casa Tua offers a tasty and intimate dinner. It’s the perfect location to enjoy the night after a long day. Don’t hesitate to taste the Tiramisu Casa Tua—delicious! The Salty Donut: If you’re in Wynwood looking at galleries and craving sweets, this place serves the best donuts in the world. My favorite is maple syrup bacon or classic glazed.
WHERE TO SEE ART
The de la Cruz Collection has pieces by all my favorite artists: Sterling Ruby, Wade Guyton, Rob Pruitt, Alex Israel, Christopher Wool, etc. Bill Brady Gallery: I love this local gallery located close to Little Haiti. Can’t wait to see what he will show this time.
WHERE TO RELAX AND HAVE FUN
The Spa at Four Seasons at the Surf Club is perfect for an aromatherapy or Pilates session in front of the sea. Great place to go at the end of Art Basel and relax. Como Hotel: Catch some of the city’s top jazz performers during Gin and Jazz Nights at the Traymore bar in this luxury Art Deco design hotel.
