With the holidays upon us, Whitewall has compiled a selection of our favorite fragrances for last-minute gifting and self-indulgence. Here, we highlight some special products from LOEWE, Hermès, Chanel, Aēsop, Tom Ford, and more.
Chanel
Holiday Fragrance – N°5 Eau de Parfum Purse Sprays
This holiday season, Chanel’s most classic scent is more portable than ever. The N°5 Eau de Parfum Purse Sprays feature a wearable chain and a white woven sleeve embroidered with a golden CHANEL logo, yielding the perfect fragrances to slip into your purse or carry as a sleek, glamorous accessory of their own.
Aēsop
Virēre Eau de Parfum
With key notes of bergamot, fig, and green tea, Aēsop’s Virēre Eau de Parfum is equal parts woody and verdant. This fragrance is the newest offering from French perfume designer Barnabé Fillion, a long-time collaborator and friend of Aēsop. During the formulation process, Fillion called upon memories of Mediterranean vacations to create a profoundly fresh, clean scent. Still, this fragrance has nuance: notes of pink pepper, cedar, and hay lay beneath the surface, yielding a long-lasting wear with depth and a mineral edge.
LOEWE
Perfumes Holidays Collection
This winter, LOEWE collaborated with the Kyoto-based ceramicist duo Suna Fujita to create a line of botanical perfumes accompanied by festive hand-crafted illustrations and ceramic touches. The line includes several LOEWE Elixirs, which are colognes with an exceptionally high concentration of essential oils, as well as two new fragrances: Prado and Doré. The collection also includes the limited-edition LOEWE x LLADRÓ bottles, which each feature a unique, hand-painted porcelain flower cap crafted by the Spanish porcelain brand.
Malin + Goetz
Tomato Home Spray
Malin + Goetz’s newest offering is the Tomato Home Spray, a fresh and vibrant scent with top notes of basil, green ivy, lavender, and mint. Inspired by founders Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz’s passion for gardening at their Hudson Valley Home, it is the first alcohol-free home spray with an odor-neutralizing technology—transforming unwanted smells into clean, refreshing scents. This product is as practical as it is chic, making it a perfect gift for anyone.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Baccarat Rouge 540 Body Ritual Set
Just in time for the holidays, the luxury French fragrance brand Maison Francis Kurkdjian has debuted the Baccarat Rouge 540 Body Ritual Set. Known for its floral, ambery, and woody notes, this scent is popular thanks to its timeless quality. The set comprises an eau de parfum, scented body oil, and scented hair mist, allowing the wearer to continually perfume their skin and hair throughout the day.
Tom Ford
Bois Pacifique
This week, Tom Ford unveiled Bois Pacifique: a woody, spicy fragrance inspired by the majestic redwoods of Big Sur. Developed using a pioneering AI technology, this new scent features notes of cardamom, turmeric, olibanum, sandalwood, cedar, and oakwood. The result is a comforting, luxurious fragrance with long wear, packaged in a fluted flacon with a bronze-tone metal plaque and matching cap.
Diptyque Paris
Les Essences de Diptyque
Beloved French lifestyle brand Diptyque Paris has expanded their fragrance offerings with Les Essences de Diptyque, an assortment of five new eaux de parfum. Each scent is inspired by a different element of nature, from the coral reefs of Venice to mother of pearl to water lilies. The brand collaborated with several notable perfumers for the new collection, while Irish artist Nigel Peake was tapped to create stunning, surrealist visual compositions for each bottle. A discovery set of all five fragrances is available for $200 and would make a lovely gift for anyone who appreciates olfactory treasures.
Hermès
Barenia Eau de Parfum
Hermès’ newest feminine fragrance is the Barenia Eau de Parfum, a nod to the House’s signature Barenia leather and its first ever chypre fragrance. This compelling, strong, sensual scent was designed by Christine Nagel, the Creative Director of Hermès Perfumes. Assertive notes of oakwood and patchouli are met with the more delicate butterfly lily and miracle berry; the fragrance is packaged in an elliptical bottle of crystal-clear curves and precious metal.
