Last night, Whitewall’s Michael Klug and gallerist Philippe Hoerle-Guggenheim joined together to curate a special exhibition celebrating 50 years of The Rolling Stones. The show on the third floor of The New York Edition Hotel includes guitars used on the band’s world tours, alongside handwritten lyrics and works of art by band member Ronnie Wood. A large sculpture of the iconic Rolling Stones tongue made out of Coca Cola cans was shown by artist Jumping Bull. The unique art and ephemera was celebrated with a kick-off party where Klug, Hoerle-Guggenheim, Scott Lipps, Constance Jablonski, Luka Sabbat, Hunter Barnes, Polina Proshkina, Thierry Guetta, Antwaun Sargent, Harif Guzman, Di Mondo, Kissey Asplund, Bo Don, Harif Guzman, Angela Bellotte, and Alex Laskey were all in attendance.
