Last Tuesday, DKNY creative directors Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Obsorne, W Magazine editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi, and New Museum director Lisa Phillips hosted a launch party on behalf of the New Women’s Project.
The initiative intends to amplify the New Museum’s long-standing and ongoing advocacy for female artists. The presentation featured a series of exhibitions by 35 female artists.
The spring 2016 exhibitions showcased the first solo shows in New York, including the works by Nicole Eisenman, Goshka Macgua, Cally Spooner, and Jaden Smith.
