On April 24, guests like Alec Baldwin, Thom Browne, Stan Smith, Alexandra Richards, Tessa Hilton, Peter Marino, and Igee Okafor gathered at Ermenegildo Zegna’s new store in New York for a celebratory evening of food and entertainment.
Opened in February, the brand’s three-story global boutique features a new retail concept, where architect Marino created a journey through the Zegna world. Outside, the store features a yarn-reminiscent façade constructed of metal stays and inside, historic photography and a vintage Italian bar accompany a modern aesthetic created by cerused ashwood, bleached mahongany, and vals stone flooring.
For the celebratory night, the brand’s CEO Ermenegildo Zegna and artistic director Alessandro Sartori welcomed guests to the striking new space where they enjoyed a culinary presentation by Mario Carbone—including a custom menu inspired by Oasi Zegna—followed by a DJ set by Leigh Lezark from The Misshapes.
