In Paris for FIAC 2017 (October 19-22), and looking for top shopping destinations? Whitewaller put together a curated list of boutiques and shops to make your search a little easier.
Centre Commercial
For the past seven years, artistic details have shone in Centre Commercial—a committed, selective shop by Sébastien Kopp and Ghislain Morillion—the founders of Veja sneakers. Explore exciting brands like Bleu de Paname, Roseanna, Suzie Winkle, Ami, and Masscob, among home and personal accessories.
Whitewaller recommends: Not overlooking the hats, the bags, or the kids’ section.
Frédéric Malle
Upon entering Frédéric Malle, guests are greeted with a unique, futuristic display—architectural and artistic plywood bookshelves line the space and fill its center. With these Jakob + MacFarlane–designed “hives,” shoppers can choose from the store’s sophisticated selection of perfumes.
Whitewaller recommends: Asking for expert advice on rare ingredients.
« colette »
December 20 will mark a monumental day in our fashion calendars. It is the day, after 20 years of business, « colette » will close. In March 1997, the three-level store began with Colette Roussaux and her daughter Sarah Andelman offering Paris and the world an elevated mix-and-match oasis of fashion, art, streetwear, music, food, beauty, and tech. The reinvention of retail continued with the unique « colette » “experience,” enabling the shopping experience with new and established brands, forgotten labels, exclusive and prerelease products, and limited editions. Determined to stay influential as a visionary, through a passionate nature and reactive spirit, the store, since June, has been transforming the first floor entirely with « Le Relais 6x213m ». Each month, a single designer is taking over the space with a custom-made installation. Since June and until December, those designers include: Balenciaga, Les Vacances de Lucien, Sacai, Thom Browne, Chanel, and Saint Laurent.
Whitewaller recommends: Spending some time on the imaginative first floor.

L’EXCEPTION
Brand new to Paris, L’EXCEPTION offers some of the best brands, products, and exclusive pieces to date. The store also presents a coffee shop where visitors can find one of the best acai bowls in town!
Whitewaller recommends: Attending one of the store’s special events.
Merci
In 2009, Merci opened as a place for the best in fashion, design, household goods, and refreshment. In the multilevel space, visitors can find pleasant surprises—like new designers, tech gadgets, books, and bags—after enjoying a light bite at the library-like café.
Whitewaller recommends: Visiting the top floor for home goods.
