Wednesday was chockful of parties, pop-ups, and dinners across the city. First, at The St. Regis New York, The Green Vase held a party for the opening of its paper flower shop in the hotel’s Cognac Room, which honors a newfound partnership between Livia Cetti’s artisanal brand and the hotel. Bubbling rosé and hors d’oeuvres in hand, partygoers gained a first look at the temporary shop, inspired by the hotel’s glamorous gilded age patroness, Caroline Aster, whose favorite flower was one in the same with the hotel’s emblematic rose. Through September 11 and within the Cognac Room retail activation, visitors can shop a gorgeous installation of paper flowers before sticking around for a flora-centric tea service, conceived specially for the pop-up.
