Friends with Benefits (FWB) has recently partnered with the legacy cognac brand Hennessy to present Café 11—the inaugural luxury Web3 social club. Influenced by the richness of 1920s Jazz Age, speakeasies, and Parisian cafe society, Café 11 sparks artistic and intellectual encounters on a global scale. In the spirit of decentralization and international conversation, the curators, entrepreneurs, and artists of FWB came together to form an alliance with Hennessy.

Special for this collaboration, as well, is an exclusive Café 11 NFT, created by illustrator and fine artist John P. Dessereau, available to collectors and grants access and membership to the club. On November 4, as an homage to the year in which Hennessy was founded, FWB minted 1,765 Café 11 NFTs, constructed with the Zora Creator Toolkit and FWB artists.

The luxury social club will kick off this December during Art Basel Miami Beach, where members can enjoy in-person experiences such as cognac tastings, culinary affairs, cultural programming, and live music. International opportunities for connection, inspiration, and chance encounters will follow.

"Hennessy has a tradition of embracing the avant-garde and never settling. We know that imagination and hard work can transform the world,” said Laurent Boillot, President and CEO of Hennessy. “Thanks to the bright new possibilities of Web3, now we can celebrate who we are in a new space that complements the physical reality of our home in Cognac, France. It's this tension between our past and a brave new world that makes this project with Friends With Benefits so exciting.”
Through this partnership, FWB continues to sculpt modern creative communication with its dynamic community of over 3,000 visionaries, including music legend Erykah Badu, graphic designer David Rudnick, multimedia artist Petra Cortright, and founder Trevor McFedries.

“At FWB, we believe in the promise of a better internet—one where new communities are fostered, and authentic connections can thrive. It is an honor to partner with an institution like Hennessy, whose legacy is steeped in culture, furthering our mission to act as a social convening point for the curious, ambitious individuals and institutions who want to use decentralized technology to co-create our future,” added Gabe Quintela, FWB’s Head of Partnerships. “Through Café 11, we will produce extraordinary experiences for anyone who’s willing to take a leap of faith and join us on this journey. We look forward to bringing Café 11 to life this December in Miami, and to offering many subsequent experiences to members in the coming years.”
