Last week, Art Basel Miami Beach was alive with a flurry of parties, artist collaborations, and cross-industry gatherings—from visual art to culinary innovation, mixology, design, and beyond. Many of the most compelling moments were the ones whispered about the next morning, the kinds of happenings that reveal themselves only after they’ve already become part of the week’s mythology. The Miami Beach EDITION, in particular, was a consistent hub, hosting multiple events in a single evening, while Soho Beach House continued to cement its status as a quintessential Art Week destination. Here, Whitewall highlights the collaborations that defined the nights—intimate, imaginative, and the ones we’re still thinking about.

Hosted on La Vista Terrace at The Miami Beach EDITION, the intimate, art-driven dinner highlighted the intersection of luxury whisky, culinary excellence, and contemporary design. At the center of the evening stood a bespoke sculptural installation by London-based botanical artist Hamish Powell—an homage to the craftsmanship behind the blend and a striking visual anchor for the night. Parisian hotspot Silencio returned to The Basement at The Miami Beach EDITION, transforming the space for three nights only on December 2, 3, and 5. Created by Arnaud Frisch, Silencio has always lived between nightlife and cultural salon, and its Miami takeover pulled people in with an atmosphere that felt cinematic—shadowy corners, glowing lights, and the quiet thrill of being somewhere slightly secret.
Originally imagined by David Lynch, the space took on a surrealist pulse as art-world insiders, musicians, and wanderers slipped in and out. Each night, paired DJ sets by Benji B, The Dare, and Yves Tumor with unexpected performances, creating a current of anticipation—everyone sensing the possibility of a moment that couldn’t happen anywhere else. The experience preserved its signature mystique, crafting a momentary realm where guests felt open, inspired, and awake to the night’s creative pulse.

At Soho Beach House, rapper and songwriter 2 Chainz delivered an electric, high-energy performance inside the property’s iconic beach tent, a cornerstone of the house’s annual Basel programming. Through the years, the tent has earned a reputation for its charged late-night performances, style-driven guests, and spontaneous creative collisions—events that quickly become the ones everyone talks about.
Guests filled the tent just steps from the shoreline, creating an intimate, unfiltered setting that felt equal parts concert and insider gathering. Porsche, the evening’s sponsor, positioned a sleek model directly on the sand, its silhouette glowing under the tent lights and serving as a striking centrepiece. The installation was designed by artist Cornelius Tulloch, whose work also appears in the house’s art collection, adding an added layer of artistic resonance to the night’s atmosphere.
