The Glass House held its annual Summer Party fundraiser last weekend. Taking place on 49-acres of lush landscape, the sunny afternoon was full of delicious food, musical entertainment, art, and more.
Guests roamed Philip Johnson’s Glass House grounds, enjoying lawn games, music by Brooklyn Rider, and a special Paddle8 auction including works by artists like Rita Ackermann, Dustin Yellin, and The Haas brothers.

A farm-to-table picnic (served in charming personal baskets) was provided by South End, complemented by rosé from Whispering Angel. After lunch, guests had the chance to experience a virtual reality simulation of the restored interior of the property’s under construction Brick House, as well as visit “Personal Effect: Works from the Collections of Philip Johnson and David Whitney,” on view in the Painting Gallery.
Attendees had a chance to leave the Summer Party in transportation provided by Tesla, with a two limited edition mirror design by artist, Jenny Holzer in-hand.
