As part of its three-year partnership with The Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR), luxury jeweler Harry Winston presented its New York Gala 2016, an annual event that took place last Wednesday. Guests such as Diane Kruger, Heidi Klum, Tommy Hilfiger, and Coco Rocha joined the company for a glamorous evening at Cipriani Wall Street, enjoying an evening that included an auction for a pair of original Harry Winston Diamond Links earrings.
The jewelry house also revealed its new limited-edition item: The Harry Winston Countdown to a Cure Timepiece. Launched in honor of a successful two years of collaboration, the pair of watches are part of the company’s Midnight Collection. The men’s watch includes a 42mm white gold case and a blue sunburst dial, while the 32mm women’s watch features a gradient of diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and garnets. Only 20 of each watch will be released, and 20% of the profit from the watches will be donated to amfAR.

Harry Winston, in keeping with its rich philanthropic history, announced its partnership with amfAR in January 2015, and has helped the foundation to raise over $53 million since then. The company aims to help the Countdown for a Cure Campaign, launched in February 2014, to raise $100 million to develop a cure for HIV/AIDS by 2020. The evening was one of 27 galas scheduled to take place throughout the three-year collaboration.
