Guests indulged on oysters and vodka cocktails at Center548 Monday night in New York at the Independent Curators International (ICI) annual benefit and auction. Celebrating the night’s honorees, Miuccia Prada (receiving the Leo Award) and Germano Celant (receiving the Agnus Gund Award), the physical awards created by artist Liz Glynn and the auction led by Alexander Rotter of Sotheby’s.
The auction, powered by Artsy, raised over $600,000 towards ICI’s worldwide development of programs, education, exhibitions, and international networks of foreign exchange.
Projection screens updated the guests on the live and silent sales, while they dined and danced to vivacious sets mixed by the fashion-forward DJ Alix Brown. Notable guests included Sofia Coppola, Marina Abramovic, Agnes Gund, Kate Fowle, and many more. The night ended with an after-party featuring a classical music performance from the one-and-only Amadéus Leopold.
