This winter, The Snow Lodge expanded its footprint in Aspen to Snowmass, building upon the cultural energy it first imagined in Colorado in 2019. Born from the magnetic spirit of The Surf Lodge in Montauk—Jayma Cardoso’s summer institution known for blending music, art, and community—The Snow Lodge has, in recent years, translated that ethos into a winter context in Aspen.
For the 2026 season, its evolution continues with an expansion into Snowmass, marking its emergence as a cultural hub for connection, community, and fun as much as an après ski experience.

At the center of this transformation is a collaboration between Elevated Returns—led by President Stephane de Baets—and Cardoso, Founder and Creative Director of The Snow Lodge. Together, they’ve reimagined Viewline Resort Snowmass as the anchor for a European-inspired enclave where design, gastronomy, music, and retail meet.
The result is a multi-venue concept that introduces what feels like Snowmass’s first true “cultural district,” seamlessly woven into the mountain landscape.

Four distinct venues define this new chapter, each offering its own rhythm. By day, Bunny’s Social Club invites skiers to pause mid-run at a ski-in/ski-out setting perched on the slope, where panoramic views and relaxed energy meet an easygoing culinary program. Operated in collaboration with The Flower Shop’s Co-Founders, Ronnie Flynn and Dylan Hales, the space captures the spontaneity of mountain life—long lunches that turn into après moments, all against a cinematic alpine backdrop.
At the Viewline, The Clubhouse offers a more introspective experience. Designed by Bluarch Architecture, the space functions as both an expertly curated concept store—featuring ski capsules and avant-garde accessories from brands like Farm Rio, Casablanca, Apparis, and more—and a gathering place, filled with art, music, and design programming. Anchored by a Common Room Roasters café, it embodies a refined and approachable sensibility, blurring the lines between retail and lounge.
As evening settles in, The Flower Shop—an extension of the beloved downtown New York and Austin venues—channels a nostalgic 1970s ski lodge aesthetic. Wood-paneled interiors, a fireplace, and a convivial atmosphere make it equally suited for early dinners or late-night conversations, offering a grounded, intimate counterpoint to the high-energy programming elsewhere.
That energy continues at The Après-Ski Club, where the rooftop of the Viewline transforms into an open-air stage. Here, international DJs and performers animate the alpine skyline, turning Snowmass into a destination not only for great skiing, but for global music culture. Outfitted with sculptural furnishings by JANUS et Cie, the venue underscores the Snow Lodge’s signature blend of elevated design and immersive experience.

This season also introduces a new partnership with Rivian, offering guests a seamless way to navigate Aspen and Snowmass in the all-electric R1S SUV. Available through concierge at both the Snow Lodge and The St. Regis Aspen Resort, the service reflects a broader commitment to thoughtful, design-forward travel—where even transportation becomes part of the experience.
Redefining the Modern Mountain Escape

With its expansion into Snowmass, the Snow Lodge signals a shift in how alpine destinations are imagined. No longer defined solely by sport, places like Snowmass are becoming year-round cultural ecosystems—where a day on the slopes flows into an evening of music, design, and connection.
Rooted in Montauk’s free-spirited origins but shaped by a global perspective, The Snow Lodge’s latest chapter feels like a continuation and a reinvention—an entirely new standard for mountain life.
