On July 1, IWC Schaffhausen will launch a special version of its iconic Mark 11 watch—the Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII. Alluding to the year the timepiece debuted, the edition is limited to 1,948 pieces. The signature design recognizable from the small rectangles at “3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock” and the hands covered luminous material for easy reading at any time. The pilot’s watch boasts a soft green Nato strap, an iron cage, and sapphire glass—details that protect it from magnetic fields and changes in pressure.
The Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII will be exclusively available from Harrods in London for three months starting this weekend. After that, it will be available in IWC boutiques and retailers.
