Inside Jacquemus’ Monte-Carlo Beach Club: The Summer’s Most Instagrammable Retreat

Under the Riviera Sun: the legendary hotel presents a summer 2025 activation by the fashion brand Jacquemus, complete with striped umbrellas, a pop-up shop, exclusive merchandise, and more.

Monte-Carlo Beach Club, the legendary seaside escape on the French Riviera, has unveiled a sun-drenched chapter for Summer 2025—one that merges its century-old glamour with contemporary creativity, fashion, food, and art. The resort’s revival began in April when the seasonal spot re-opened, led by new artistic direction and a wave of exciting activations. Among the most talked-about? A bold, stylish collaboration with fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.

For his first resort partnership of this kind, Jacquemus has reimagined Monte-Carlo Beach’s iconic Olympic pool area with his signature sun-soaked minimalism and Riviera flair. The designer, known for his artful silhouettes and Provencal influences, has outfitted the pool with custom striped loungers, chic parasols, and exclusive Jacquemus towels. Guests can even indulge in ice cream from a a branded Jacquemus stand and browse a curated on-site boutique. It’s a full sensory immersion into the designer’s world—translating his effortless aesthetic into an experience that feels both playful and refined.

Jacquemus’ takeover reflects the wider renaissance happening across the property. Under the leadership of René Blino, who joined as director in 2024, the hotel and beach club is redefining the modern Riviera experience—paying homage to its golden-age heritage while leaning into cutting-edge design, sustainable gastronomy, and cultural collaboration. This season marks just the beginning of a multi-year transformation that will continue through 2027.

Menu and Design

The culinary offerings this summer are equally ambitious. Chef Marcel Ravin continues to helm the Michelin-starred restaurant Elsa, where his “marine garden” concept deepens with sea-sourced cooking methods and ingredients from nearby Domaine d’Agerbol. Think locally-caught fish steamed in seawater and vegetables from the surrounding cliffs for a tasting experience that fuses terroir with oceanic spirit.

Over at Le Deck, Chef Pascal Garrigues is ushering in a new Mediterranean menu within a freshly redesigned setting by interior architect Dorothée Delaye. Known for her work with Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment and the Hôtel de la Marine in Paris, Delaye has reimagined the space with solid wood structures, enveloping lines, and a palette of soft blues and striped prints—recalling the resort’s golden era, now modernized for today’s traveler.

But food isn’t just about refinement this year—it’s about rhythm, too, as Sea Satin at Maona Monte-Carlo kicks the party into high gear. The Mykonos-based hotspot lands in Monaco with two daytime dining sessions, Mediterranean dishes, and live DJ sets that transform the restaurant into a euphoric dance floor by afternoon. It’s a nod to the resort’s jet-set past—when stars like Maria Callas and Aristotle Onassis would host iconic soirées under the same sun.

Jondal at La Vigie also brings Ibiza’s top luxury dining experience to the serene Pointe de la Vigie, surrounded only by pine trees and the sound of the sea. Offering a sophisticated take on Spanish seafood cuisine, Jondal’s beachfront terrace serves both lunch and dinner daily.

This season also celebrates movement, physical and emotional. A reinvigorated wellness and sports program includes yoga and pilates, personal coaching, and the arrival of new padel courts, plus green water sports like paddleboarding and kayaking in the protected marine reserve. Families will find joy in Monte-Carlo Kids Club by Petit VIP, and for all generations, the resort’s iconic Olympic pool will host friendly swim competitions throughout July and August—a summer tradition beloved by Monegasques and resort guests alike. And on the wellness front, Spa Monte-Carlo Beach invites guests to unwind with treatments from Paoma, an organic, eco-ethical French skincare brand whose approach aligns with the resort’s sustainable ethos.

A Living Work of Art

At the heart of Monte-Carlo Beach’s revival is a commitment to beauty—through nature, design, and experience. Each element of the season feels deliberately curated: from the artful forms of Delaye’s furniture and the sculptural presence of Jacquemus’ beach club concept, to the culinary storytelling of Ravin and the musical, sun-soaked rhythms of Sea Satin.

Whether guests arrive by land or take advantage of the resort’s private sea shuttle from Port Hercule, they’re met with a landscape that feels both storied and alive. This is Monte-Carlo Beach as it was always meant to be—an elegant playground, a cultural touchstone, and a canvas for the creative minds shaping today.
