Jaeger-LeCoultre’s New York flagship opened at the end of last week with a swanky soirée. Located at 701 Madison Avenue, the 700-square-foot boutique showcases the watchmaker’s devotion to watchmaking, debuts its finest timepieces.
Inaugurating the venue, Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Daniel Riedo and President Philippe Bonay celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring alongside actor Clive Owen and actress Sarah Gadon.
“Jaeger-LeCoultre has experienced rapid growth in the United States over the last few years powered by a targeted retail expansion and a highly qualitative wholesale network. For a while now we have been looking for a space in New York to serve our clients whether locals or tourists. We have found at 701 Madison the perfect home for Jaeger-LeCoultre, one that allows us to showcase the mastery of our Manufacture, the diversity and depth of our watch collection and share our love and dedication to our craft with our clients and collectors,” said Bonay.
The ground level, in the shape of a rotunda, boasts an entire wall of watch movements. Iconic pieces on display include the Reverso, the Rendez-Vous, the Master, and the Geophysic. Recent collections highlight grand complications, gemstone setting, enameling, and engraving, as well as the beautifully crafted Atmos clocks.
The store’s second floor is dedicated to an in-house watchmaker responsible for maintenance, repairs, and ongoing innovations.
