Jason Wu Chairs Next Week’s ACRIA “Unframed” Silent Auction in New York

Now in its 25th year, Young Friends of ACRIA will host its UNFRAMED auction next Tuesday, April 26, chaired by Jason Wu to benefit the organization’s ongoing HIV/AIDS research.

UNFRAMED was initiated by artist Ross Bleckner when he began selling his watercolors in 1991 at a cocktail party, to help raise money for HIV/AIDS outside of government-funded programs.

The evening will begin with cocktails followed by a silent auction at Paula Cooper Gallery, featuring a selection of 30 works curated by Steven Henry, including pieces by Glenn Ligon, John Baldessari, and Jasper Johns.
