Last night, Panerai and Whitewall presented an intimate evening of great food, conversation, and company. Named, “The Pure Dinner,” the night was hosted by collector, photographer, and designer Jean Pigozzi. The seated dinner took place at La Cava within the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach.
The three-course dinner kicked off Miami Art Week—a healthy start to the indulgent days and nights ahead. Each plate found inspiration in a Panerai timepiece. Up first was the Luminor 1950, translating into a bellini with fennel garnish, paired with roasted cauliflower bisque. The Radiomir 1940 came next, resulting in a carrot, local orange, ginger, and yellow beet beverage alongside an heirloom beet salad. The third course referenced the Luminor 1950 Submersible, reimagined as a drink dubbed “The Diver” with honey, limeade, grapefruit, almond and orange extract with a sea salt rim. That was sipped along with a winter squash risotto with white truffles.
The delectable gathering concluded with desserts inspired by the Luminor Due, in the form of a cranberry spritzer with rose water and a spiced grilled pineapple with a marble tropical fruit sorbet.
Whitewall’s Michael Klug, Laurent Moisi, and Thomas Mondo welcomed guests included Maor Cohen, Richard Chang, Sevan Biçakçi, Manuel Molina, Max Dolgicer, Kulapat Yantrasast, Kenny Schachter, and more.
