For Frieze Week 2017, Whitewaller handpicked a few insiders—a select group of those in-the-know on all things London—that shared with us how to navigate the city during the art fair. Next up, we have Karin Gustafsson, Creative Director of COS, who shares her top spots to eat, sip, see art, and relax at this week.
WHERE TO EAT AND SIP
On the weekend I love to have lunch with my friends and family at Hoi Polloi in Shoreditch’s Ace Hotel.
For a fun evening, I like to go for drinks at Spiritland in King’s Cross, where they play music of all genres on vinyl through a world-class sound system.
WHERE TO SEE ART
I’m super-lucky to live so close to the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow. I also love to visit White Cube in Bermondsey. The area is really buzzing on the weekend, so it’s great just to walk around. I also enjoy popping into the Tate Modern, and nothing beats Kensington Gardens and the Serpentine Galleries.

WHERE TO HAVE FUN AND RELAX
When the weather permits (this is the U.K., after all), I love to visit Columbia Road Flower Market on a Sunday and stroll through Regent’s Park.
