DAYSSI & PAUL KANAVOS AND KIM H. HEIRSTON HOST A CELEBRATORY DINNER FOR ARTIST BOSCO SODI, PREPARED BY CHEF JEFF MCINNIS AND JANINE BOOTH

Kim Heirston and Paul & Dayssi Kanavos Honor Bosco Sodi at the Shelborne Wyndham Grand

On Monday night, Kim H. Heirston and Paul and Dayssi Kanavos welcomed guests to a lively cocktail hour and seated dinner at Miami’s Shelborne Wyndham Grand in Miami Beach. The intimate celebration honored Bosco Sodi—the newly commissioned contemporary artist whose work is now exclusively shown at the hotel located at 1801 Collins Avenue. Chef Jeff McInnis and Chef Janine Booth served a variety of decadent courses, and guests enjoyed the ambiance overlooking the hotel’s iconic pool.

“I love it. It’s been my life forever,” said Mrs. Kanavos, as she spoke of her early start as a student at Cornell’s hotel school, where she now serves on the board. The Kanavos’ other two hotels, the Ritz Carlton Miami Beach and the Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami gleam next to the Shelborne Wyndham Grand, each location sharply decorated to strongly stand alone. With an apparent appreciation for interior design, detail, and art by Sodi, the Shelborne Wyndham Grand now shines in its classic art deco building like never before.
