Lending his talents to adorn London’s legendary hotel, Claridge’s for the holiday season is Kim Jones, Creative Designer for Dior Men, who designed their annual Christmas tree, carrying on the London hotel’s much anticipated tradition.
Called the Celestial Snow Globe, Jones’s design is a stunning, crystalline interpretation of a snowy Christmas tree, incorporating holographics with traditional white toile, recalling and paying homage to Dior’s emerging mission in progressing tradition. Ornaments seem to float in an orbit around the tree while perched on top is none other than Jones’ own faithful companion, his dog, Cookie, hugging Monsieur Dior’s lucky star.

Symbolizing the start of the holiday season, Jones remarked of the unveiling, “It is a great honor for me to design the Christmas Tree for Claridge’s and thus bring Dior, London and the Christmas spirit together in this iconic place.”
Becoming a staple to locals and tourists alike, Claridge’s embraces their tradition, now in its eleventh year, of inviting an artist or creative to envision Christmas at Claridge’s and design the hotel’s tree in their own style. Claridge’s annual Christmas Tree will be unveiled in the lobby of the hotel this Wednesday morning, November 24.
