Catherine Ahnell Gallery presented the work of Parisian contemporary artist L’Atlas last Wednesday in collaboration with Perrier, in celebration of his interactive public art installation at Nelson A. Rockefeller Park in Battery Park City. The installation is the first part of a series of works that will go up in Paris, Seoul, Mexico City, and New York—each city representing one of four elements. New York represented “air” with a geometric design measuring approximately 110 square feet and using more than 3,000 helium balloons.
Following the opening of the installation was a pop- up event at Catherine Ahnell Gallery, where L’Atlas’ work was exhibited and where he further discussed his collaboration.
L’Atlas is best known for his graffiti-style work that has continuously grown in the street art scene. This project with Perrier is an extension of their existing collaboration to create unique packaging designs for the brand.
