Le Grand Bain, Cazes, and Thomas Hirschhorn’s Studio: Thomas Arsac’s Paris

FIAC 2017 opens this week (October 19-22), and we’re sharing Director at Galerie Chantal Crousel Thomas Arsac’s insider tips on where to eat, sip, see art, have fun, and relax during the festive week. And for more on this year’s edition of FIAC and the surrounding fairs, exhibitions, events, and happenings, check out Whitewaller London & Paris 2017, out now in Paris.

WHERE TO EAT AND SIP
Les Arlots feels like home and has the best saucisse purée of Paris! Le Grand Bain is perfect for a large group of friends around a generous meal and excellent wine choices. Sunday breakfast at Cazes is different each week with a large variety of small dishes and a sunny terrace far from the crowd.

WHERE TO SEE ART
Everywhere! Any walk can turn into a lovely discovery. From the harmonious Monet’s Nympheas at Musée de L’Orangerie to the radical and generous energy at Thomas Hirschhorn’s studio. Or simply getting lost to find yourself one day at Eglise Saint-Eustache facing a triptych by Keith Haring he donated a few months before he passed away, just a few meters away from a John Armleder stunning painting.

WHERE TO HAVE FUN AND RELAX
At home with friends, good food, and wine, or watch the pétanque players in the Jardin du Luxembourg.
