Summer is in full swing, and that means the search is on for the ultimate picnic, al fresco dining, and rooftop cocktails. For a lucky few in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, Champagne Bollingeris catering to June festivities with an anticipated reservation-only dinner series—Le Grand Dîner. In partnership with Resy, the dinner series celebrates the release of Champagne Bollinger’s La Grande Année 2008 in the United States.
“We do not believe in short cuts. We age each vintage bottle under cork and disgorge and riddle by hand because we believe these labor-intensive practices are the absolute best for the wine,” said Gilles Descôtes, Champagne Bollinger Chef de Cave. “The same can be said of the chefs we are partnering with, all of whom strive to achieve balance and dimension with each bite through precise techniques, attention to detail and careful ingredient selection.”
To complement its complexity, cuisine is created by a hand-selected chef—each selected for a like-minded approach in the kitchen, ranging from classic dishes to unexpected bites. New York’s dinner is on June 10 at Legacy Records with Chef Ryan Hardy; L.A.’s dinner is on June 17 at Maude with Chef Curtis Stone; and Chicago’s dinner is on June 24 at Tied House with Chef Debbie Gold.
“Le Grand Dîner is the kind of event series Resy is excited to partner on and bring to life, as it pairs our incredible restaurant partners with a world-class Champagne producer to create a unique culinary experience for diners. Resy’s core mission is to deepen the relationship between the restaurant and the guest, and these dinners are a great example of that,” said Vanessa Leitman, Resy Vice President of Public Relations & Experiential.
