Lougé Delcy Shares His Best Miami Art Week 2025 Moments

The artist and creative director reflects on the installations, events, and unexpected moments that defined his Miami Art Week experience.

Lougé Delcy—known for his multifaceted practice spanning photography, creative direction, and immersive installation—shapes culture with sharp aesthetics with emotional intelligence. Primarily, his work moves between intimate portraiture and large-scale experiential installations, each project reflecting his instinctive ability to translate emotion into atmosphere, capturing the energy of the communities he’s embedded in while building environments that feel both intimate and cinematic.

During Miami Art Week 2025, Delcy debuted a new installation named “Self Preservation” at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, transforming the iconic hotel’s palm tree walkway into a sensory landscape. Images of his—from series like “Boys Who Swim” and “Self Preservation”—were printed on large-scale tapestries and hung between trees, reflecting his signature style of light, texture, and narrative. Without a doubt, it was a highlight of the week for many arts and hospitality patrons.

Below, Delcy shares with Whitewall his “best of” moments from the week, highlighting the art, events, and people that inspired, surprised, and energized him.
