Whitewaller is back and ready to bring you all you need to know for the Miami fairs. All week-long we’ll bring you “Insider Tips” from those in-the-know on what to see, do, eat, and drink. Next up, the founder and curator of Espasso, Carlos Junqueira.
#Happy Hour
I frequent the Aegean bistro Mandolin located in between the Design District and Historic Buena Vista. Built inside a home from the 1940s, the atmosphere transports you right to the Mediterranean—not to mention—the food is completely fresh and authentic.
#Best in Miami
Of all the Art Deco treasures in South Beach I find the elegance and glamour of The Raleigh to be particularly charming. It’s a landmark example of Miami’s unique architectural heritage that is truly timeless.
#Top Art Spot
HFZ Capital Group will be hosting a special exhibition at the Shore Club with Arte Clube Jacaranda, an art and design collective dedicated to Brazilian contemporary artists, and also featuring furniture from Espasso. It will be the place to be to view the very best of Brazilian design.
#My Miami Treat
Having a cocktail at the Broken Shaker is frankly a one-of-kind Miami experience. Located inside the Freehand Miami in South Beach, this is a visionary bar that makes the hotel famous. I recommend the bartender’s choice everytime.
