Pellicano Hotels’ CEO and Creative Director Marie-Louise Sció recently launched ISSIMO, a new lifestyle and e-commerce platform. Offering luxury products spanning the areas of style, design, travel, and food, the site was inspired by Italian heritage and features a bi-monthly newsletter, which takes cues from a vintage Italian newspaper.
Named for the Italian superlative suffix “issimo,” which is added to an adjective to enhance its meaning, the platform is divided into six charmingly titled categories, reflected in both the shop and newsletter. Buonissimo contains culinary products; artisanal homeware and Italian craftsmanship can be found in Bellissimo; Italian culture editorials and cultural collaborations are housed in Coltissimo; Chichissimo includes fashion and apparel; Fichissimo acts as a digital extension of Pellicano Hotels’ souvenir shop; and the quintessential black book to Italy’s 20 regions can be found under Italianissimo.

Patrons to the site can browse cultural musings (including curated ISSIMO playlists and book recommendations) under the “Read & Travel” sector, or shop products by hand-selected Italian brands—like Borsalino, Acquazzurra, Giuliva Heritage Collection, La Double J, and M di Missoni. The shop also offers exclusive collections designed in conjunction with Sció, created by collaborators like Anya Hindmarch, Loretta Caponi, Dedar, Ignasi Monreal, Les Belles Heurs, For Restless Sleepers, and Chinti & Parker.
