Using flat combs, fan regulators, a unique type of wooden soundboard, winding keys and mainspring barrels, the device produces music as its own complex instrument. It also features a rare, 350-year-old wooden resonance spruce with timber from the Risoud Forest in Switzerland. When it plays music, the delicate pieces can be seen moving.
