Chanel dinner to celebrate "FIVE ECHOES" by Es Devlin at Jungle Plaza

Miami Fête: Dinner with Chanel, a Party with LOEWE, and More

Though Miami Art Week is over, we’re still reminiscing on last week’s events. Here, you’ll find details on highlights like a dinner with Chanel, LOEWE’s party at Twist, and more.

Special for Miami Art Week, Tiffany & Co. transformed the interiors of its Miami Design District storefront from top-to-bottom in yellow. Replacing the classic Tiffany blue with a sunny hue reminiscent of the Tiffany Diamond, the jewelry house celebrated its iconic gem with an installation complete with an array of the gorgeous yellow jewels. In tandem with the indoor installation, the maison presented a special projection on its façade in tribute to Virgil Abloh, who passed away just last week.

On Thursday, Marea New York’s pop-up at Osteria Morini Miami was the venue for an evening held in honor of Jean Pigozzi’s latest title The 213 Most Important Men in My Life. Presented by Altamarea Group especially for Miami Art Week, the culinary destination welcomed an intimate gathering of Pigozzi and art world friends for a delectable four-course tasting experience featuring flavors like red wine braised octopus,  Nova Scotia lobster with burrata and eggplant al funghetto, and accompanying wine pairings. After the meal, which was enjoyed amidst a lush tablescape of flowers and overhead greenery, guests stuck around for a performance from the musical duo Sofi Tukker.

Chanel held a dinner in celebration of its commissioned work by Es Devlin, FIVE ECHOES, which debuted for the occasion of Miami Art Week and will remain on view until December 21. Devlin’s living, large-scale sculptural environment (located at Jungle Plaza) served as the venue for the evening meal, which saw names like Pharrell Williams, Kristine Froseth, Camila Mendes, and Leon Bridges partaking in a candlelit dinner, set within the work’s forest of more than 1,000 plants. The elegant fete came to a close after a performance from the musician Rosalía.

And later that night, Playboy marked the launch of its luxury lifestyle label BIGBUNNY with a lively and lavish party at Casa Tua. Drawing inspiration from the surrealist work of Salvador Dalí, who was commissioned by the magazine in the 1970s, the event welcomed a star-studded guest list that included names like Cardi B, Offset, Lizzo, Chloe Wise, DJ Kitty Ca$h, Brooke Wise, Austine Mahone, Gunna, and Moses Sumney. The unforgettable night was complete with details like DJ sets from Mona Matsuoko, Boyz Noize, and Mia Moretti, a performance interpreting Botticelli’s Venus, clouds that hovered above the dancefloor, and other commissioned works by names like Nina McNeely, Miranda Makaroff, Filip Ćustić, and Maria Forqué.
