Yesterday evening’s festivities showed us a more relaxed side of Art Week—sometimes all you need to have a great time is delicious food and good company.
To celebrate the opening of Paola Pivi’s “Art with a view” at The Bass, Phillips and the museum hosted a private dinner at the home of Tatiana and Ricardo Silva yesterday evening. Guests including Esthella Provas, Fru Tholstrup, Casey Fremont, Petra Levin, Alberto Chehebar, and Michael Chow gathered at the Silva’s, where a seated dinner was prepared by chef Ciro Sicignano. After the meal, guests enjoyed a performance by opera singer and pianist Elizaveta Khripounova before heading to the rooftop for a DJ set and breathtaking views of Miami Beach.
At the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, Ruinart’s picturesque champagne party presented attendees with the special opportunity to view artist Liu Bolin’s creative process in action. As Bolin live-painted against a large-scale installation of iconic rounded champagne bottles, guests like Ezra J William, Umberta Gusalli Beretta, Carlos Bentancourt, Eliza Mcknitt, and Soledad Lowe sipped rosé and enjoyed canapes by Michelle Bernstein while DJ Timo Weiland provided musical entertainment.
Hennessy held an exclusive evening honoring artist Vhils’ latest achievements—his first-ever solo show at GGA Gallery, “Etherial,” and the unveiling of his collaboration with the cognac brand, The Hennessy Very Special Collector’s Edition bottle. To help celebrate, guests like Chanel Iman and Nas joined the artist for delicious Hennessy cocktails and a seated dinner, followed by a performance by musician DSharp.
Overlooking the Atlantic ocean, The Surf Lodge returned for its fifth year, kicking off last night at The Confidante Miami Beach. At the pop-up, partygoers including Ally Hilfiger, Laura Harrier, Sarah Bahbah, Brandon Boyd, and Sailor Brinkley-Cook could be seen enjoying a family style meal (provided by Richard Hales’ Bird & Bone) and an evening of relaxed entertainment.
