For Haute Jewelry 2018, Mikimoto revealed its latest collection, “Jeux de Rubans.” Inspired by ribbons and the beauty that they enhance, the new pieces are timelessness and graceful in necklaces, rings, earrings, and brooches.
The brand continues its love for cultured pearls, offering a unique 18k white gold side-draped necklace made of white South Sea and Ayoka cultured pearls, gathered by a flower made of sapphires and diamonds. Another 18k white gold necklace—a wide bib-style piece, tied with a delicate bow of diamonds—is seen made of Akoya cultured pearls, as well.

The collection also shined with a few eye-catching pieces: an 18k white gold ring featuring a floral-like encasement of sapphires and diamonds for a natural conch pearl; earrings and rings in similar ribbon-like designs—both made of 18k pink gold (while the earrings had touches of 18k white gold), diamonds, and white South Sea cultured pearls; and an 18k white gold brooch made of Ayoka cultured pearls and diamonds, featuring a multi-loop bow at its center.
