Last Tuesday night, Peter Brant was honored with the Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award. The ceremony took place at Kappo Masa, the restaurant below Gagosian on Madison avenue. Guests like Sienna Miller, Dustin Yellin, Urs Fisher, Tobias Meyer, Kelly Brant, Enoc Perez, Jonathan Horowitz, Lawrence Luhrig, and Gavin Brown enjoyed tasty passed hors d’oeuvres and champagne.
Accepting Montblanc’s award—now in it’s 24th year—the collector said, “It’s a great honor for me to be recognized by people in the arts for something that I really have always loved doing my whole life. I was very encouraged and surprised they chose me, [Montblanc’s] involvement in the arts is exemplary and I hope many other corporations take an active involvement in supporting the arts.”
