Coachella kicked off last week in Palm Springs, CA. Alongside the music and the fashion, there were a few activations and happenings that caught our eye. One in particular was Moschino’s party in collaboration with XA, the brainchild behind the past three years of Moschino’s immersive experiences. XA gets its name from “The Experiential Agency” and is a creative agency specializing in comprehensive and experiential branding strategies for creative partners. For the party on April 15, XA collaborated with Moschino’s designer Jeremy Scott to throw a star-studded art-infused event.
A Candy Crush theme played out with larger-than-life 3-D candies, a candy truck, and a ball pit. The game’s notable Lolli-Hammer, Jelly Bean, and Lemon Drop treats were seen oversized and seemingly floating above. TIDAL, a supporter of past Moschino’s parties, had a stage featuring a video wall, and projections covered the space overhead and on the tall surrounding palm trees.
Guests like Katy Perry, Francis Cobain, Emmba Roberts, Kylie Jener, Charlie XCX, Emily Ratajowski, Joan Smalls, and Stella Maxwell enjoyed the lineup of special performances by talents like Mia Moretti, DRAM, Lil Yachty, Mazurbate, Lil Uzi, and Angel & Dren.
