Michael Chow Brings his Iconic Restaurant to the Middle East
Earlier this month in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a jubilant opening of the latest MR CHOW restaurant unfolded in the center of the King Abdullah Financial District. The sumptuous evening marked the inauguration of the legendary restaurant in the Middle East, as well as a notable partnership with Mohammed Jawa, Founder and Chairman of groundbreaking MJS Holding, which strives to bring premier restaurants into the growing region. Meticulously designed by founder and luminary Michael Chow, the vast 8,000 sq. ft. venue boasts two stunning levels and an elegant terrace overlooking the mesmeric city.

MR CHOW’s Heritage of Luxury and Authenticity is Ever-Evolving
MR CHOW Riyadh rejoices in the restaurant’s storied history of offering guests heavenly cuisine organic to Beijing alongside impeccable European-style service and atmosphere. Following in the footsteps of an iconic succession of restaurants, beginning in London in 1969 and parading into Beverly Hills in 1974 and New York in 1979, with the most recent iterations dazzling Miami and Las Vegas, Mr. Chow’s newest iteration shines with the same authentic and posh spirit.

A deft student of both Saint Martin’s School of Arts and the Hammersmith School of Building and Architecture, the iconic restaurateur has had a keen eye for the poetry of fine dining from the very beginning. “I never meant it as a business,” explained Chow of his genesis in London. “I wanted to create a happening, an immersive aesthetic experience fusing art, architecture, design and cuisine, and a place to bridge the East to the West, celebrating the greatness of my country, China.”
