In a city now firmly established as a global crossroads for art, design, and luxury, Jaeger-LeCoultre has chosen the Miami Design District as the next stage for one of its most ambitious cultural programs. On May 20, the Swiss Maison welcomed Kate and Kevin Love to the opening of The Reverso Stories, an immersive pop-up at Sweet Bird North (95 NE 40th Street) celebrating more than nine decades of the Reverso—a timepiece that has become as much an object of design history as of horology.
Running from May 21 through May 31, 2026, the exhibition arrives ahead of the Maison’s much-anticipated boutique opening in the Miami Design District this summer. Conceived as a four-chapter journey through the Reverso’s evolution, “Story of an Icon, Story of Design, Story of Innovation, and Story of Craftsmanship,” the experience moves fluidly between watchmaking heritage and contemporary creative expression, with newly commissioned works by artists, designers, and chefs reframing the timepiece as a living dialogue between past and present.
The Latest Chapter of a Jaeger-LeCoultre Icon
At the heart of the pop-up is a curated selection of Reverso pieces ranging from rarely seen archival models to the Maison’s most ambitious contemporary creations, including the Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185, whose four dials remain a benchmark of complications.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre exhibition also marks the world debut of five new Reverso Or Deco pieces. Three iterations—each set with 46 colored gemstones in sapphire, emerald, or ruby—echo the spirit of the cocktail timepieces of an earlier century. They are joined by a monochromatic version in 18K white gold (750/1000) and a smaller, unisex iteration designed for a more compact, versatile silhouette. All feature a Milanese bracelet and underscore what has long defined the Reverso: an effortless ability to shift between sporty and elegant, contemporary and retro, masculine and feminine, often all at once.
For collectors drawn to the more intricate end of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s repertoire, the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Pegasus is a study in patience. Its 18K pink gold case is hand-engraved over 180 hours with the figure of Pegasus, while the front dial layers architectural geometry with hand-filled blue lacquer clouds. On the reverse, the skeletonised Duoface movement reveals the Gyrotourbillon in full mechanical theater, enhanced by lacquer accents and contrasting finishes that bring its Métiers Rares™ craftsmanship into full view.
Beyond the Reverso, the Jaeger-LeCoultre pop-up also introduces a new platinum interpretation of the Duometre Heliotourbillon Perpetual—first launched in 2024, pairing the Duometre concept with a multi-axis tourbillon in Calibre 388. The new version, distinguished by a grey dial and matching platinum bracelet, will be produced in a limited numbered edition of just 20 pieces, exhibited exclusively during the Miami pop-up.

“At the crossroads of watchmaking, architecture, and art.”
The Jaeger-LeCoultre exhibition’s narrative structure invites visitors into a measured, almost cinematic experience of the Reverso’s nine-decade journey. From the watch’s origins as a polo-ready Art Deco icon in 1931, through its evolution as a canvas for enamel, engraving, gem-setting, and miniature painting, each chapter unfolds in dialogue with the next.
Visitors will also encounter a live demonstration of perlage—the decorative finishing technique that gives movements their signature beaded sheen—a craft rarely shown to the public outside the walls of the Vallée de Joux manufacture.
Made of Makers: A Creative Dialogue Across Disciplines

Expanding the conversation beyond horology, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Made of Makers™ program brings together three artists and creators whose work reinterprets the Reverso through distinctly contemporary languages.
Webcomic designer Olivecoat debuts an archive-inspired webcomic that revisits the story of the Reverso through the visual idiom of the ninth art, framing key moments in its history as an immersive narrative.
Digital media artist Dr. Yiyun Kang unveils Origin, a bespoke large-scale 3D video sculpture commissioned by the Maison. Drawing on the principles of the Golden Ratio and the geometric complexity of the Reverso, the work offers a poetic, almost meditative reading of the timepiece’s design language.
Inside the reimagined 1931 Café, 2024 World’s Best Pastry Chef Nina Métayer translates the same harmonies into edible form. For Miami, she has created an exclusive signature piece, Splendeur Tropicale, a gourmet smoothie that blends sun-ripened tropical fruits with refined textures, evoking both the proportions of the Reverso and the golden light of South Florida.
