The No Commission Art Fair, a contemporary art experience conceptualized by Swizz Beatz’s The Dean Collection, opened last week during Art Basel Miami Beach with a three-day, immersive experience in Wynwood. Up for sale was work by artists like Dustin Yellin, Hebru Brantley, Kehinde Wiley, KAWS, Gregory Siff, Gabriel Dawe, Hyon Gyon, Shepard Fairey, and Zio Ziegler, among others. Swizz Beatz led a personal tour of the exhibition space to Lenny Kravitz and Mack Wilds during the opening, introducing them to some of the artists present. The opening event, sponsored by Bacardi, showcased emerging artists alongside established artists by providing exhibition space at no cost and with artists retaining 100% of sales. Coinciding with the fair was a series of invite-only nightly performances at the “Untameable House Party” from artists including Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, DMX, Wiz Khalifa, and Pusha T.
