Last week in Miami, real estate developer Eduardo Costantini unveiled his substantial art collection at the Oceana Bal Harbour, a new luxury residential property. The guest of honor for the event was Jeff Koons, whose work is in the collection on view in the location’s north and south lobbies alongside artists like Callum Innes, An Te Liu, Jorge Mendez Blake, Taryn Simon, Juan Usle, and Garth Weiser.
“My philosophy in real estate as well as in collecting art is to have the best; In all of my projects, prime location, five-star service, innovative design and the latest technology are all a must,” said Costantini, chairman of Consultatio Real Estate and founder of Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA). “Likewise, in collecting works of art, I choose only some pieces—the most important—by a given artist in hopes that those surrounded by the works experience more personal contact with art in their daily lives,” he said.

Guests for at the event included Piero Lissoni, Enzo Enea, Bernardo Fort-Brescia, Jorge Mendez Blake, Garth Weiser, Jeffrey Deitch, and Mayor Philip Levine.
