Ono Poke Shop, Wynwood, and Little Havana Cigar Factory: Rick Ueno’s Miami

This week, Whitewaller Miami launches for Art Basel in Miami Beach (December 7—10). To help guide you to the best spots in town—where you can eat, drink, see art, and relax at, we hear from a group of insiders. Next up, Rick Ueno, the General Manage of the W South Beach

WHERE TO EAT AND SIP
One of my favorite places to eat is Ono Poke Shop in Wynwood. They serve only one thing on the menu, so it’s quick and easy to order, and the fish is so fresh. I also love MR CHOW—and not just because it’s at W South Beach. The food and service are unmatched in Miami. MR CHOW also has a beautiful bar upon arrival with an impressive Pop art collection throughout.

WHERE TO SEE ART
I love the everchanging street art in Wynwood. I’ve traveled around the world and have yet to see such an artistic and involved neighborhood like Wynwood. Also, the Bass Museum is across the street from the hotel—it’s been closed for updates and will be open in time for Art Basel. I’m excited!

WHERE TO HAVE FUN AND RELAX
The Little Havana Cigar Factory on Calle Ocho is my favorite. I love to smoke cigars, and they have the best selection in Miami.
