Pierpaolo Piccoli’s Puffed Dreams for Moncler

Last week on October 11 at The House of Genius in New York, Remo Ruffini Chairman and CEO of Moncler, debuted the 1Moncler Pierpaolo Piccioli collection with a private cocktail reception hosted in partnership with Barneys New York. Interpreting the Moncler DNA, Valentino’s Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccoli reimagined its shape, now unveiled in a long, A-line silhouette with a nod to both futuristic, graphic shapes and a sense of couture. Stripping the house’s iconic duvet, the designer worked with down-filled nylon, and a concept of his own.

There, guests like Chloe Wise, Colby Jordan Mugrabi, Harley Viera-Newton, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Simone Rocha, and Tina Craig gathered to welcome the unique new pieces for the house. Following the cocktail event, a seated dinner for special attendees culminated in several of them wearing the new pieces, and enjoying the continuation of the house’s Genius Manifesto.
