Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille and British automotive brand Aston Martin announced plans for a long-term global partnership last week. Citing a personal interest in the world of luxury sports cars, Mille expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, while Aston Martin highlighted the two companies’ similar values: cutting-edge performance and ambitious, innovative design.
As part of the collaboration, Richard Mille will release a line of exclusive wristwatches created alongside Aston Martin’s design team, headed by Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman. Brandishing the signature wings of the automobile company, the watches will be handcrafted in materials typical of both companies. Richard Mille will additionally support the Aston Martin Racing team in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
