Richard Mille celebrates Brazilian Formula One racer, Felipe Massa’s achievements with two new limited-watch designs. Massa was hired by the watch brand ten years ago, and since then has celebrated 40 podium finishes in his career and finished 3rd at the most recent Australian Grand Prix. Now ranked 6th in the world, Massa has been a long time test driver for Richard Mille timepieces.
The RM 056 has 500 individual components and made out of titanium. The very technical construction insures long-term reliability. Only 10 watches will be released of this model. The RM 011 is named after Massa’s racing number. The watch, of which 100 will be made, includes an annual calendar, 60-minute fly back, and countdown function. The driver’s racing colors, blue and yellow, inspired the design and finish of the watch.
