Last month, Hublot and HYT debuted their latest novelties in Geneva. Here are some of the standout timepieces from their newest collections.
Hublot introduced us to the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski Red Magic, a timepiece inspired by artist Richard Orlinski’s sculptuure, Born Wild Crocodile. Sure to make a statement as both an eye-catching piece of art and a finely crafted watch, the Orlinski Red Magic has been imagined in a wild red ceramic case (a new feat the brand unveiled at Baselworld last year) with a sculptural design that mimics Orlinski’s work. The 45mm case watch is limited to 200 pieces, features the HUB1155 self-winding mechanical chronograph movement, and a red rubber strap with a black coated stainless-steel buckle clasp.
Along with the release of HYT’s new Ho timepiece, comes the query, “If diamonds are forever, then how long is forever?” With a dial covered in more than 1200 snow-set diamonds, the 48.8 mm case watch features HYT’s exclusive micro-fluidic module, a mechanical movement with manual winding, and complementing red details and a matching alligator strap. While the futuristic design of the watch face is encased in a dome of sapphire crystal, the sparkling stones appear as though their surface is permanently glistening with dew, reminding us that time—and therefore life—is constantly in motion.
