All this week in preparation for the Dallas Art Fair, we’re hearing from leading design, art, culture, and lifestyle experts on how they enjoy Dallas.
“In the ever-growing Dallas Arts District, the Nasher Sculpture Center is home to one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary sculptures in the world. Don’t miss a stroll through the galleries. The historic Statler Hotel, which originally opened in 1956 when it hosted great talents such as the Jackson 5 and Tony Bennett. If you don’t find me and my guests there, you will find us at The Joule, a revitalized 1920s neo-Gothic landmark building set in the heart of Dallas central business district, just across from the cool retailer Forty Five Ten. For dining, my favorites are Bullion, a modern French brasserie in Downtown Dallas, and since I’m a native Texan with a love of Tex-Mex, you will find me munching on chips and salsa at Mi Cocina in Highland Park Village.”
