This week, Swatch is the presenting partner for the Vans US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, CA. As part of its support, the watch brand is hosting several art activations within its booths at the Huntington Beach Pier. There, artists like , Michael C. Hsuing, Jack Graydon, Ellen Rutt, and Benjamin Marasco will be present, hand-painting life-sized Swatch Maxis.
While visitors can experience the artists working first-hand, they can also contribute to the Living Art Wall—a space for surf-enthusiasts to decorate and share their thoughts on the prompt, “The time is now to _______.”

This summer, Swatch also introduced “The Perfect Ride” watch, a limited-edition timepiece released especially for the major surfing tournament, in support of Proteam riders Coco Ho, Tia Blanco, Jhonny Guerrero, and Courtney Conlogue.
