In Miami for the busy art week, and wondering where to eat, see art, or relax? In Whitewaller Miami, we hear from a group of insiders that share their personal favorites. Below, we hear from Max Chow, COO of MR CHOW Enterprises, Ltd.
WHERE TO EAT AND SIP
There’s an industry bar called Sweet Liberty that has the world’s best piña colada. I am willing to challenge anybody to find a better piña colada. If you’re willing to take a trek, one of the great things Miami has to offer is Cuban food, and one of the institutions is Versailles. Get something simple and hearty followed by a ridiculously strong shot of coffee.

WHERE TO SEE ART
Winter in Miami is one of the few times of the year that it’s cool enough to walk around outside. Wynwood, particularly Wynwood Walls, is a good place to see organic, local art. Additionally, the Art Deco architecture of Miami is rather unique, so finding old buildings in the city is always recommended.
WHERE TO HAVE FUN AND RELAX
Broken Shaker is casual and a little funky. They have great cocktails, food, and a laid-back atmosphere . . . and obviously, the beach.
