The West Hollywood EDITION

Autre Magazine and Jeffrey Deitch gallery marked the start of Frieze Los Angeles with a dinner at Ardor in The West Hollywood EDITION, followed by an afterparty in the hotel’s Sunset nightclub. The dinner gathered notable names like Nadia Lee Cohen, Ariana Papademetropoulos, Nina Chanel Abney, who recently opened her solo show at the Jeffrey Deitch gallery, and Academy Award nominee and Emmy-winning actress Sharon Stone, who is set to appear in the next season of Euphoria. Guests dined on vegetable-forward dishes paired with Perro Verde mezcal, co-backed by actor Benicio Del Toro. The afterparty featured music by DJ Mr. Pharmacist, a performance by Faux Real, and a surprise set by Saturn Risin9, bringing together artists and creatives for a vibrant evening of art and celebration.
For Freedoms Dinner

For Freedoms, Repro Uncensored, Michelle Woo, Autumn Breon, Zehra Zehra, Kamal Sinclair, joined by artists and collaborators, hosted a dinner at Piccalilli to support local community members affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. The event featured a private screening of Hoops, Hopes & Dreams, the latest film by Glenn Kaino and executive produced by For Freedoms, which recently made its debut at Sundance.
Guests had the opportunity to obtain limited edition prints by acclaimed artists Hank Willis Thomas and Awol Erizku. The funds raised during this evening went toward providing micro-grants, custom care packages, and grocery and meal deliveries to artists and cultural workers impacted by the wildfires.

Actress & producer Jenna Dewan hosted the LA Art Show’s Opening Night Premiere Party in support of the American Heart Association and California Community Foundation’s Wildlife Recovery Fund. Taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, this year’s event celebrated LA Art Show’s 30th anniversary as Los Angeles’ largest and longest-running art fair. Albertz Benda and Friedman Benda hosted their annual Frieze LA party at their residential gallery on Marmont Lane. The evening celebrated the debut of “Saddle Up: Artistic Journeys Through Cowboy Culture,” an exhibition curated by Los Angeles-based artist Devon DeJardin.
This exhibition offers a fresh perspective on Western themes, as interpreted by a new wave of creatives. Artists including Chloe Chiasson, NH DePass, Drew Dodge, Raven Halfmoon, Julian Pace, Robert Peterson, Taylor Marie Prendergast, Levi Pitters, Ken Taylor Reynaga, Sol Summers, Connor Tingley, Jess Valice, and Kayla Witt present works that explore their personal connection to the concept of “Western.” Further expanding on the exhibition’s theme, are works by artists and designers represented by Friedman Benda, including Estúdio Campana, Carmen D’Apollonio, Raphael Navot, Ferréol Babin, Faye Toogood, and Daniel Arsham.

The Ruinart Art Lounge will present the debut of Ruinart’s 2025 Conversations with Nature partnership, featuring the work of multidisciplinary artist Sam Falls. Known for incorporating themes of biodiversity into his practice, Falls brings a unique perspective that aligns seamlessly with Ruinart’s dedication to preserving the natural world/ Visitors had the opportunity to experience his artworks for the first time, displayed through limited-edition installations designed to create an immersive environment. These pieces encourage dialogue and connection, reflecting the harmony between art and nature that stands at the heart of Ruinart’s commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness.
Maison Ruinart has pledged its support to Frieze’s initiative for the LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund, an emergency resource dedicated to assisting artists and arts workers across all disciplines who have been affected by the recent Los Angeles-area fires. As part of this collaborative effort, artist Sam Falls has introduced exclusive limited-edition collectibles, including hats and books. All proceeds from these items will directly benefit the relief fund, contributing to the recovery and support of those impacted by the devastating fires.
Art & The New Garde x Mashonda Tifrere

A solo exhibition showcasing the work of Rugiyatou Ylva Jallow, a Swedish-Gambian artist born in Stockholm and currently residing in Los Angeles, was hosted by curator Mashonda Tifrere at NeueHouse Venice Beach. Jallow’s artwork features compelling self-portraits that examine themes of identity, cultural belonging, and personal stories. Her distinctive approach blends acrylic and oil paints with intricate thread work, creating pieces rich in texture and meaning. Using vibrant colors and symbolic elements, Jallow’s paintings explore the layered experiences of mixed-race identity, illustrating deep ancestral ties and the complexity of cultural heritage. Opening night guests enjoyed music by DJ Edge Control.

Elle Decor’s Deputy Editor, Sean Santiago, joined forces with Rodman Primack and Rudy Weissenberg of AGO Projects, Lauren Taschen, and Visit West Hollywood to host an elegant dinner at Ardor, located in The West Hollywood EDITION. The gathering brought together prominent names from the design, art, and creative spheres to champion the LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund, a cause aimed at supporting those impacted by recent wildfires. The guest list included celebrated designer Jeremy Scott; David Aldaheff of The Future Perfect; writer and producer Maria Bell; renowned architect and designer Pam Shamshiri; art consultant and designer Alison Palevsky; Creative Director Jonathan Buford; and interior designer Jesse Rudolph. The evening blended conversation, creativity, and community, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere.
This intimate dinner coincided with Rodman Primack and Rudy Weissenberg‘s “Love How You Live: Adventures in Interior Design” book tour. Guests received personalized touches that made the event memorable, including intricately hand-painted plates crafted by artists Jorge Pardo and Pae White, alongside a copy of the celebrated book.
